HRD Corp welcomes the announcement by Yang Amat Berhormat, Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi regarding the allocation to support talent development initiatives under Johor Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
JS-SEZ is a collaborative initiative between Malaysia and Singapore aimed at establishing a shared economic hub to attract businesses and investments, focusing on high-value industries and innovative technologies, partly by having access to a skilled talent pool.
In support of this, HRD Corp in collaboration with the Johor Strategic Human Capital Unit has launched Skills4Johor.
Skills4Johor aims to cultivate a skilled, industry-ready workforce through targeted training programmes and industry-relevant certifications. It is supported by a dedicated allocation from HRD Corp, which will be exclusively utilised for the upskilling and reskilling of future workers, leading to placements with premium salaries

OBJECTIVE
To developed skilled workforce to meet JS-SEZ industries demand.
Equip the workforce with skills that can increase earning potential.
Provide placement opportunities with premium salaries.
TARGET GROUP
Graduates with TVET qualifications, diploma or higher degrees from universities, colleges or polytechnics.
Existing workforce identified by current employers and future investors of JS-SEZ with the target to upskill or reskill the talents and be future ready for the jobs.
SCOPE OF COURSES
Focus on competencies, technical skills-related and certifications programmes.
TRAINING DELIVERY METHOD
Conducted through delivery method deemed suitable for the employers.
TRAINING DURATION
Minimum: 3 days (24 hours)
Maximum: 3 months
