Industrial Skills Framework (IndSF)

Digital Technology

The IndSF for Digital Technology serves as a comprehensive guide designed to cater to the needs of various stakeholders, including individuals, industries, higher learning institutions, training providers and others. Its primary goal is to recognise the knowledge, experiences and skill mastery within the digital industry while fostering a culture of lifelong learning.

The framework offers a common reference for skills and competencies required in the digital sector, making it easier for individuals to make informed decisions regarding their career development. It also helps employers identify the skills they need and invest in training programmes for their employees. Furthermore, training providers can use the framework to design programmes that meet the sector’s manpower and skill requirements.

The framework will cover:

Career Pathways: Clear routes for career advancement and opportunities in the digital industry.

Skills Requirements: A detailed outline of the specific skills needed across different roles in the industry.

Industry-Recommended Training Programs: Suggested training programmes that align with the competencies and skill needs identified.

The revised edition has a broader focus and aims to enhance the Digital Technology industry by ensuring it meets the demands of a rapidly evolving market. This will help drive future growth and innovation in the digital sector.
